DENNIS "ROBOCOP" ORCOLLO kept the Philippine flag flying high on Saturday by advancing to the semifinals of the on-going Brunei 9-Ball Invitational Cup 2007 at the Indoor Stadium in Berakas.
The 28-year-old Orcollo will be gunning for his second major pocket billiards title after capturing the 2007 BCA Enjoypool.com crown in Las Vegas, Nevada early this year.
Orcollo's semifinal opponent will be 2005 World 9-ball Champion Wu Chia-Ching of Chinese-Taipei.
In the last eight, Orcollo demolished Indonesian Muhammad Zulfikri, 9-3 to assured US$1,500 after making it to the final four in the tournament sanctioned by the Asian Pocket Billiard Union (APBU) and organized by the Brunei Darussalam Cue Sports Association for the third time with cooperation from the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports and sponsored by GHK Motors Sdn Bhd.
